Treating Hairline Scars From a Facelift

With time, however, hairline scars can become exposed as the hairline recedes and there is continued loss of hair coverage. This problem can occur immediately after surgery if there is damage to the hair follicles or years later with diminished strength of the hair follicles as a result of alopecia.
In some cases, the hairline incisions can become hypertrophic or widened, leading to poor scarring regardless of the amount of hair you have at the hairline. All of these scar problems can result in poor scars on the forehead, temples, and sideburns.
